CLASSIC PRO DAMASCUS FLAME is a very popular series of ZANMAI knives worldwide. Base of knife is created from 33 layers of Damascus steel with VG-10 core (VG-10 is also known as “super steel”). Steel is hardened to relatively high 61±1HRC toughness with metal composition of C-1%, Cr-15%, Mo-1%, V-0.2%, Co-1.5%. Hamaguri type edge offers perfect control over cut and retains its sharpness longer. Full-tang construction makes the knife so well balanced that it can stand unsupported vertically on handle end. Ergonomic handle is made from red laminated Pakka wood and is held on to knife with three rivets, middle one inlaid with beautiful mosaic. End of the handle with engraved ZANMAI logo can be used to crush garlic and others.
