The Tormek Japanese Water stone 4000 grit delivers a mirror finish with already hardly any visible marks. Since the stone is made to create the finest surface, it has limited steel removal capacity and cannot be used for shaping a tool.

- Compatible with Tormek T-7, T-8, 2000 (and other grinders like JET etc.)

This water stone excels at sharpening hand tools like carving tools, knives, scissors, plane irons and wood chisels where a minimum of steel removal is needed and superior surface finish is required.

Its unique composition gives the stone an extremely long life. Since the surface left by the Japanese Water stone is so fine, we do not recommend honing afterwards on the leather honing wheel.

You should clean the stone surface of steel particles every minute or so with the fine side of the Stone Grader SP-650. Do not use the coarse side of the Stone Grader on the Japanese Water stone.

Perfektní jemný kámen s nímž se dá dosáhnout zrcadlově lesklého ostří. Jen je potřeba mít na paměti že je kámen poměrně "měkký" a při troše neopatrnosti není problém do něj vyrobit "zásek" Nicméně to není vada, ale vlastnost.
