Additional hover spring allows stabilization of KMFS Vantaedge Integral, especially when dealing with dull knives.

Spring with spacer is put on the rod of angle head or additional MULTIANGLE head.

Body of the spring is shaped to be self tightening and so after sliding it on rod it stays in set position. Set position helps compressing the spring elevating the head and thus transferring weight of the guide and rods into the stone. Spring does not have to hold the stone above the edge, it’s enough when it is partially compressed.

This spring is not particularly useful for sharpening very sharp angles on small blades, where there is not enough space for the spring.

The stoppers are set on the guide rod of the stone holder and serve to stop the stone from slipping off the edge and bottom stop serves to stop the stone holder from sliding off the guide rod. .
