Rozsutec is a natural sharpening stone with very fine grit (equivalent 6000-8000 JIS grit). Thanks to that you will achieve a mirror polish on your knives and tools. Another advantage of this stone is its hardness, resulting in almost insignificant loss of material from stone. This can be appreciated especially when polishing thin blades that may cut grooves in softer stones. Stone is quarried and processed for several decades by small family enterprise in Slovakia, in Malá Fatra mountain range.
NOTE: Rozsutec is a hand processed natural stone. Therefore it is possible there will be some traces from cutting the stones or some stone deposits. Rozsutec sharpening stones are made in such way that the sharpening surface should be free of imperfections. Since stones are hand cut, there may be some variations in size in order of millimeters from indicated dimensions.
