About manufacturer:
A small blacksmith shop close to Nagasaki run by 5 brothers. The shop has been in operation since around 1850s and is currently run by a 10th generation of blacksmiths. Amongst other materials (like Shirogami  and Aogami, White and Blue steel) the shop still uses a Tamahagane steel made from Iron sand (satetsu) through traditional methods and does their own cladding on knives.

Bezva nůž

Čepel je velmi kvalitní a hezky zpracovaná, po nabroušení to je paráda.
Ale řemeslné zpracování rukojeti a uchycení čepele je velmi tristní a u nože za 2690 Kč bych čekal něco lepšího. Každopádně, po výměně rukojeti za rosewood to bude chlouba kuchyně.

Můj první japonský nůž

Jsem velmi nadšený, jelikož jak píší v názvu je to můj první ručně vyráběny japonský nůž. Méně oxiduje než jsem cekal, čas od času promazu kameliovym olejem. Ostří z výroby není spatne ale dá se rozhodne vylepšit. A potom je to pekelne ostré.
