Bargain set of sharpening stones SUEHIRO with maximum range of grits. Contains combination stones NEW CERAX 280/1500 and 1000/6000. With these two stones you can tackle anything from basic re-shaping of blunt or damaged edge on 280 grit all the way to final polish on 6000 grit. Made in Japan.

1) Sharpening stone Suehiro New CERAX CR-2800
- Grit JIS: #280 (orange) a #1500 (white)
- Combination with large range of use for basic re-sharpening of dull edge
- Stone dimensions: 183 × 63 × 15 / 183 × 63 × 13 mm (280/1500)
- Abrasive: Alundum A/WA
- Manufacturer SUEHIRO Corp., Niigata City

2) Sharpening stone Suehiro New CERAX CR-4800
- Grit JIS: #1000 (blue) a #6000 (white)
- Fine combination for maintenance of fine edge
- Stone dimensions: 183 × 63 × 15 / 183 × 63 × 13 mm (1000/6000)
- Abrasive: Alundum A/WA
- Manufacturer SUEHIRO Corp., Niigata City

Let the stone soak in water for about 5-10 minutes prior to sharpening. After use, clean the stone and let it naturally dry. Do not store in water.

Suehiro Corporation is a smaller Japanese manufacturer of sharpening stones. The factory is located in Niigata city since 1967. The manufacturer made a name for himself under different brand names such as SUEHIRO, CERAX or DEBADO. Overall reception of Suehiro products is very good and stones are considered to be very effective yet affordable product.

Pravděpodobně se jedná o kvalitní brusné kameny od léty prověřeného výrobce Suehiro z Japonska.
Jedná se o kvalitní značku o něco málo levnější než Shapton nebo Naniwa, případně i jiné značky.
Nejsem úplný znalec brusných kamenů a nedokážu přesně zhodnotit, zda kameny jsou rychlé nebo pomalé na broušení. Zrnitosti sedí dle udávaných parametrů.
Při porovnání s kameny Taidea , Risam a Siguro jde u Ceraxu o tvrdší strukturu s vyšší objemovou hmotností. Kameny Cerax pravděpodobně vydrží nabrousit více nožů než právě čínské kameny Taidea, Risam apod. Nicméně i kameny Taidea, Risam apod. jsou na celkem dobré úrovni a pro domácí brusiče naprosto dostačující.
Chtěl jsem mít doma kameny Cerax pro porovnání s jinými kameny. S nákupem jsem spokojen. Kameny můžu doporučit, domnívám se, že jsou kvalitní.
