Standard (Traditional) series.
Standard (or Traditional) series offers a more affordable sharpening stones for complete maintenance of your knives, starting with coarse stones for repairs all the way to final polishing. Stones have a relatively firm lattice, meaning they will last longer. They are suitable for highly alloyed tool steels, and also for low alloyed carbon steel. Before use, soak the stone in water for 10 minutes. Do not store submerged. Naniwa changed the name of this series several times already (formerly DX series), however the stones themselves remain unchanged.
