CLASSIC DAMASCUS CORIAN series stands out by its unmistakable design. 33 layers of Damascus steel unite its beauty with elegance of white Corian handle. Corian is a mixture of natural minerals and clean white acrylic polymer. It is characterized by high durability, hygienic properties and by flawless appearance. Blades of these knives are hammered from 32 layers of Damascus steel with core made of traditional Japanese steel VG-10 (C-1%, Cr-15%, Mo-1%, V-0.2%, Co-1,5%). Steel is hardened to 61±1 HRC toughness; therefore the knife will retain its sharpness for long time. Knife is well balanced thanks to Full-tang construction (blade and handle are made from one piece of steel), this adds even more durability to knife as well. Perfectly sharpened edge of Hamuragi type and engraved logo with mirror sheen are a standard with all ZANMAI products, no exception with CLASSIC DAMASCUS CORIAN.
