Attention: Core of the blade is made from carbon steel and requires greater care (increased corrosion proclivity). It is natural property of carbon steel to get a patina over time and with use, this is not a fault. Due to very high hardness levels and very thin blades, use these knives only for cutting of foodstuffs. Never use the knife for chopping or leverage as it will lead to damage.

BEYOND series is a new line from Japanese manufacturer MCUSTA ZANMAI for the year 2020. Beyond replaces the original Twisted series, from which it takes the modern handle in a shape of twisted octagon. Beyond handles are made from Hinoki wood with stylish brushed Nickel-Silver alloy. As is customary with higher ZANMAI series, the handle sports a decorative rivet with mosaic. Blade is newly constructed from a sandwich composed of three layers, outer stainless steel and inner core made from carbon Aogami Super (Super Blue Steel). Blade is hardened to 62-63HRC. Each knife is packed in a gift wooden box with bow.
