Since 2016 ULTIMATE ARANAMI knives are the highest series by MCUSTA ZANMAI. Beautiful octagonal handles are made from laminated red Pakka wood. Both guard and butt of the handle are made from Nickel Silver alloy, material renowned for its anticorrosion and antibacterial properties. Handle is decorated with special rivet otherwise used for musical instruments. Damascus blade is composed of 32 layers of VG10 and VG2 steel with no core (individual layers run throughout entire blade all the way to the edge). Steel is hardened to 61±1 HRC. Stunning patterns on the blade represent raging seas, that is where the series got its name ARANAMI (raging sea/waves in Japanese). Knives from this series come packed in wooden gift box.
